It’s spring! Wow, 2012 is going fast. I’ve been busy with the final season of Desperate Housewives and also writing additional music for Battleship. It’s been a little hectic but fun! I also recently started a new video game project that I’m excited about but that has to remain top secret for just a bit longer. I’ll have some new music up on the site in the near-ish future. Stay tuned!

Well, I haven’t updated the website in far too long but I’m thankful to have been really busy! I know TF3 trailers are all over the place at this point but I thought I would post this here anyway. It was amazing to get to work on giant robot music! When I wasn’t Transforming over the last 15 months or so I stayed busy with Your Highness, Desperate Housewives, Gears of War 3, and a couple of smaller video game projects. I hope to get the website updated over the next couple of months but for now I’m focusing on taking a break and enjoying summer!

Nathan recently composed an ambient & textural score for Memento Mori by Mothership and director Brent Bonacorso.  Be sure to check out their sites- lots of amazing work and talented people!

New!  Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier.  Music by Jim Dooley, arrangements by Nathan Whitehead.  The game hits stores December 31st and you can grab the score on iTunes now!

Nathan recently finished working with Boris Salchow providing programming and additional arrangements for Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time for PS3.  This was a giant project with literally hours of music!  It hits stores October 27th.

Nathan is starting work on an under-wraps video game to be released this fall for Playstation 3.  Details coming soon!

Continuing his collaboration with Garry Schyman, Nathan is working with Garry’s music team on the live orchestral score for BioShock 2 from 2K Games.

Hot News!  Nathan is providing additional arrangements for the upcoming feature film Burning Palms by writer/director Christopher B. Landon.  Stay tuned for more news and release dates!

Nathan recently worked with Garry Schyman providing choir parts preparation for Garry’s score for the upcoming Electronic Arts game Dante’s Inferno.

Nathan recently teamed with Jim Dooley to work as score technical coordinator for the upcoming Screen Gems feature Obsessed. Look for it in theaters everywhere April 24th!

 

 

 

Nathan is excited to be working alongside Jim Dooley and Mel Wesson on the upcoming PS3 game inFAMOUS.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Continuing his work with Jim Dooley, Nathan will be serving as score coordinator for the upcoming season 2 of ABC’s Pushing Daisies. Check it out on ABC Wednesdays at 8/7c starting October 1st!

                                                                                                                                                                     

Nathan is working as score technical coordinator for Jim Dooley on the score for the upcoming Monsters Vs. Aliens video game from Activision. The game will be released alongside the Dreamworks Animation feature Monsters Vs. Aliens in March 2009.

 

Nathan recently assisted Jim Dooley in his work on the hotly anticipated Dreamworks Animation feature Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.

 

 

 

The studio shuffling has subsided and Pride and Glory has a release date! Look for it everywhere in the US October 24, 2008.

The release date for Pride and Glory continues to float in the ether. Nathan composed just a couple bits of music for this project (with the full score by the amazing Mark Isham) but it’s a great film and it’s unfortunate that it’s been mired in studio hoopla. Nathan will be composing the score to the upcoming action/thriller D4 from writer/director Darrin Dickerson of Ghostwater Films. Dickerson is an accomplished commercial and music video director and D4 represents his first feature-length film. More exciting D4 news coming soon!

Nathan recently signed on to assist composer Jim Dooley as Jim composes the scores for The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Beginning as well as the upcoming Simpsons Ride which opens soon at Universal Theme Parks in Hollywood and Orlando. Working from Jim’s state-of-the-art studio at Remote Control Productions in Santa Monica, Nathan helps tackle the myriad technical and logistical challenges of day-to-day studio operations and recently helped coordinate scoring sessions in Prague and Los Angeles.
